Our consultancy work

We respect that every organisation’s cultural change journey is unique in its challenges, circumstances and desires.

This is why we work with you with respect, care and confidentiality. We don’t just offer theories but grounded practice and empathy from our own experiences of managing and leading change.

How we can help you in your change efforts:

We STRATEGISE:
Given your circumstances and limits, what's the most effective cultural change strategy for you?

1

We FACILITATE:
What are the complex issues that our organisation must talk more about that might require more support from an experienced facilitator?

2

We RESEARCH:
What are the insights from the ground that our organisation needs to know so that we can explore what to do next?

3

We TRAIN:
What are the strategic thinking and people skills we need to learn so that we can work together on changing things in our organisation?

4

We COACH:
Who are the key people who will be managing and leading change in our organisation that must grow in their capacity to think, relate and decide?

OUR CLIENTS

We work with organisations, institutions and communities to get unstuck.

  • Organisation: GIC

The team at Common Ground took the brief and did a homerun with it! The runway was short, but the team went beyond to ensure that the content delivered the learning outcomes that we wanted. The case studies were relevant and engaging, and Shiao was charismatic as always! There was so much buzz and positive feedback after the session as well. Kudos to the team, and well done!

    SYLVIA PHUA
ASSISTANT VICE PRESIDENT (IMPACT & PARTNERSHIPS, CORPORATE AFFAIRS & COMMUNICATIONS)

  • Organisation: NVPC

The Common Ground team was professional in their partnership with our team and gave helpful insights into the design of our engagement sessions. Shiao is an adaptive facilitator, who was able to probe deeper and obtain deep insights from a diverse group of stakeholders.

    DARYL GOH
    ASSISTANT MANAGER (STRATEGY & POLICY)

  • Organisation: Learn Grow Lead

As a fellow practitioner, it was my great privilege sit in and participate in Shiao-yin's session, and to learn from her. I witnessed first-hand the way she continually and acutely senses the group's energies and interests, so as to curate her content and delivery to suit. She designs and delivers in a clear and relatable way, that is packed with insights. She is masterful at her craft!

    STANLEY FONG
    ORGANISATIONAL COACH

  • Organisation: National University of Singapore

Common Ground and Pivotal Learning have jointly conducted a 4 half day physical workshop for a group of up to 180 ASEAN students centered upon the theme of Holistic Resilience. I found that the workshop elicited critical questions for the participants' personal identity and their role within the bigger community and region in the effort to understand how we can better prepare for the future. The trainers were able to facilitate the conversations via various modalities to allow safe spaces for exploration.

    NICHOLAS LEE
    MANAGER (GLOBAL RELATIONS)

  • Organisation: Pasir Ris Crest Secondary School

The Polarity Thinking Workshop, though compacted into 4 hours was very enriching and insightful. The key ideas of polarity thinking were skilfully distilled by Shiao-Yin. It was a thought provoking session that not only provided an introduction to polarity thinking but also facilitated with helpful contexts that deepened understanding.
