We offer a variety of services, including training, coaching, consulting, facilitating, digital content, and venue rental at Common Ground Civic Centre, located at 21 Bedok North Street 1, Singapore 469659. These Terms govern your use of our services and our website (https://ourcommonground.com.sg), as well as any associated third-party platforms.

  1. Acceptance of Terms 

    Acceptance of Terms: By registering for, accessing, or using our services and website, you (“You” or “User”) agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, you must not use our services or website.

  2. Services Offered 

    1. In-person and Online Training: Programmes, workshops, and seminars are available through our platforms and third-party sites, such as Common Ground Arlo. The detailed terms are available in the Common Ground Terms of Service.

    2. Coaching and Consulting Services: Specific terms will be provided at the time of service engagement. 

    3. Venue Rentals: Facilities at Common Ground Civic Centre are available for various events and functions. The detailed terms are available in the Common Ground Civic Centre Terms of Service.

  3. Third-Party Services, Products, and Links

    1. General Disclaimer: We do not endorse, warrant, guarantee, or assume responsibility for any third-party products, services, or information advertised, offered, or linked through our website, including any hyperlinked websites or featured in any banner advertising. We are not party to, nor in any way responsible for, any transaction or interaction between you and third-party providers of products or services.

    2.  Links to Third-Party Sites: If you use links on our website to access third-party sites, you will be directed away from our site. These third-party sites have their own terms of use and privacy policies, which you should review before engaging with them. Common Ground is not responsible for the content, accuracy, or opinions expressed on such websites, nor are we liable for the privacy practices or the content of these websites.

  4. Registration and Payment

    1. Services are subject to full payment or agreed-upon payment plans. Details, including applicable taxes and non-refundable charges, are communicated at the time of registration.

  5. Accounts, Passwords, and Security

    1. Account Registration: You may be required to create an account and set a password to use certain features of our services. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information and for all activities that occur under your account.

    2. Account Integrity: You are required to ensure that the information you provide during registration and throughout your use of our services remains true, accurate, current, and complete. Update your personal information promptly if any changes occur.

    3. Account Security: You must take reasonable steps to protect the security of your account, including notifying us immediately at community@ourcommonground.com.sg of any unauthorised use of your password or account or any other breach of security. You are liable for losses to Common Ground or others due to such unauthorised use.

    4. Prohibited Use of Accounts: Do not use anyone else’s account without permission. We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access for unauthorised or harmful use.

    5. Right to Modify Accounts: Common Ground reserves the right to remove, reclaim, or change your account if deemed necessary, in our sole discretion, for reasons such as inappropriate or objectionable use of the account.

  6. Intellectual Property

Ownership and Use: All materials on our website and provided before, during, and after sessions, including text, graphics, videos, audio, photographs, logos, and computer code (collectively, "Content"), are owned by Common Ground or its licensors. Unauthorised reproduction or commercial use is prohibited.

    1. Content and Website Use: The content of this Website is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We endeavour to keep the information up-to-date and correct, but Common Ground does not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of any information. Information on the Website is subject to change without notice, and we disclaim all liability for any inaccuracies or errors to the fullest extent permitted by law.

    2. No Warranties: This website and its content are provided without any representations or warranties of any kind, either express or implied. Common Ground disclaims all warranties, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, non-infringement of intellectual property, and fitness for a particular purpose.

Additionally, by using the Website, you acknowledge and agree that Internet transmissions are never completely private or secure. You understand that any message or information you send to the Site may be read or intercepted by others, even if there is a special notice that a particular transmission (for example, credit card information) is encrypted.

  10. Cancellations and Refunds

    1. Cancellations by User: Specific cancellation and refund terms vary by service and will be outlined at registration. 

    2. Cancellations by Common Ground: We reserve the right to cancel services for unforeseen reasons, offering full refunds or alternatives.  

  11. User Responsibilities 

    1. Accurate Information: Users must provide accurate registration details and are responsible for updates as necessary. 

    2. Prohibited Uses: Users must not engage in illegal activities, infringe on third-party rights, or disrupt services and operations.  

  12. Code of Conduct

    1. Harassment and Discrimination: Harassment and discrimination of sexual, physical, vocal, emotional, or any other nature based on gender, gender identity and expression, age, sexual orientation, ability, physical appearance, race, ethnicity, or religion on Common Ground’s website, Common Ground’s social media platforms, at the Common Ground Civic Centre, and at all programmes, training, and events organised and co-organised by Common Ground, will not be tolerated. Violations of this code may result in suspension or termination of access to our services and legal action, where applicable.

  13. Media Consent and Usage

    1. Photography and Videography: Common Ground may take photographs and videos during training, courses, and events organised by Common Ground or hosted at the Common Ground Civic Centre. These images and videos may be used for marketing, advertising, archival purposes, and creating communication materials for both internal and external uses. By participating in these events or using our services, you consent to the capture and use of your image and likeness for these purposes.

  14. Liability and Indemnification 

    1. Limitations of Liability: Common Ground is not liable for indirect losses or damages arising from your use of our services, except as required by law. 

    2. Indemnification: Users agree to indemnify Common Ground against claims arising from their misuse of services or breach of these Terms.  

  15. Termination of Use

    1. We may suspend or terminate access to our services for violations of these Terms.  

  16. Dispute Resolution and Governing Law 

    1. Governing Law: These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. In the event of any dispute arising from or in connection with this agreement, the parties shall first seek to resolve the matter amicably through mediation. If mediation fails to resolve the dispute, either party may refer the matter to the courts of Singapore, which shall have exclusive jurisdiction.

    1. Changes to Terms: We may modify these Terms at any time without prior notice. Your continued use of our services after such changes confirms your acceptance of the new Terms.
